![]() Natural Building Colloquium 2007... the best yet! A BIG "THANK YOU" TO ALL WHO ATTENDED OUR "NBC" THIS YEAR! Thanks so much to each and every person who attended the PeaceWeaver Natural Building Colloquium 2007! It truly was an extraordinary event: life changing, balanced, educational, inspiring, fun, thought provoking, memorable, great participation, great food, and did we mention great fun? The Presenters:
Jim Merkel, David Eisenberg, Frank Meyer, Joe Jenkins, Laura Bartels, Deanne Bednar, Ed Raduazo, Sarah Highland, Aaron Dennis, Ben Simpson, Jim Luckner, Sarah Machtey, Mark Piepkorn, Kevin Connors, Pat Eisenberg, Joshua Klyber, David Vail, Tim Schlitzer, Dave McMillan, Patty Ceglia, Roy Butler, Chris McClellan, Eric Hempstead, Daniel Little, and Cecile Green... everyone was outstanding. The energy of the gathering was grounded, centered, clear, connected, strong and solid — especially during one of our Thunder Mountain "Thunder Storms" that brought us all closer together as a community (and kept the Big Tent from blowing away!) We had a number of teens here; folks from the inner city of Buffalo, Canada and more. Dan Chiras said one time that one of the most important action we can take to help the planet is to continue to gather together and share knowledge and be the change we wish to see in the world, why not?!?!? We are dedicated to continuing our NBC's yearly. Those of you who participated this year, thanks for giving your best and we pray you got the equivalent in return. Also, who would be interested in next year's event being 7 days long?!? Let us know ASAP so that we can put out the dates and have y'all set aside the time to come.
Let's keep opening this healing consciousness of naturally being and naturally building! That way we can create a new way of being on this Heavenly Body — Mother Earth. >> So get back in touch with us re: the length of next year's NBC, and any other suggestions. Our "Heartfelt Thanks"
to all of you who participated in our Summer Peace Gathering... the "Save the Planet Gathering"! (stay tuned during this letter for dates for next years events!) We at Thunder Mountain went from an exquisite Natural Building Colloquium right into another awakening and inspirational gathering: the SPG! Thanks to everyone who made the effort to be here for the SPG, and especially to those who attended both gatherings. WOW!!!! The longer we all were here and focused on the land, from the heart, our Minds & Lives opened more deeply! Our New Orleans family from St. John #5 Faith Church brought a tremendous amount of Spirit and Love all the way here to Thunder Mountain. Doesn't matter where we live or what we do... we are truly a Planetary Family! And gathering together is important for our healing and the healing of humanity on our Mother Earth. Thanks to Pastor Bruce and his wife Deborah, his daughter Tamasha, Walter and Gussie, Ken and Diana, Russell Price and everyone from NOLA. We Love You, and will be down again soon to build a community building for you, and look forward next year to have you back. And thanks to Mike Ellis for his efforts and support for #5, and to all the Ithacans for your support of the 7th Ward and your presence here this year. All the kids at the gathering were "Super Weavers of Peace" — playing and working together in love and harmony. Thank you kids! Venerable Tenzin Yignyen performed the Mandala construction and dismantling with an even deeper presence than ever... Thank you to our dear brother Tenzin! And Thanks to our "Master Drummer" — yes, that's right, "Master Drummer" — Mr. Fred Goodnight for his Heart Beat of Love & Compassion! The Arbor Sharings were profound, the Lodges totally cleansing, the music — thank you Deva Light Heart — inspiring, the 'playshops' life changing, and the Sunrise ceremonies breathtaking. And the kids' lodge was sweeter than honey itself! Again, way to go kids. The Food — oh, the FOOD was phenomenal! Thanks to our mighty cooks Stefanie, Willow, Cherron, Ken and their crew — Kathy, Sarah and all those who pitched in and helped out. Yummy, yummy, yummy we got love in our tummies! "Save the Planet" let each of us open to a deeper understanding that taking care of ourselves, our families and our communities is what really contributes to creating a better world, a more gentle and compassionate world for all our relations! There is a great turning happening, so may we continue to gather together and turn all heaviness into light, into love and into laughter. Thank you all for your Presence, your Participation, your Joy, and your Best! We had such great feedback from those who attended the Natural Building Colloquium
that we are visioning the NBC for seven days next year from July 27 - Aug 2, 2008
and the SPG to immediately follow for seven days from
Aug 4 - Aug 10, 2008 And we encourage folks to consider
coming for both gatherings!!!! All those who did this year were profoundly transformed! Thank you, we love you, and we are inspired by you and together we are the change we wish to see in the world!
